Key Responsibilities- Meal Support: Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
- Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and comfortable environment by performing daily housekeeping duties, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming, as well as washing and drying clothing and linens for residents.
- Personal Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
- Transportation: Safely transport residents to and from meals, appointments, and activities.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and maintaining resident records.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: Must be certified in Medication Administration, Standard Precautions, First Aid, and Choking within the first 90 days of employment.
- Experience: No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Standing and Walking: Constantly required.
- Lifting and Carrying: Frequently required, up to 25 pounds.
- Reaching and Gripping: Frequently required.
Our long-term care facility provides a safe and supportive environment for our residents. As a Resident Care Assistant, you will work in a team-oriented setting, collaborating with other caregivers to ensure the highest level of care and service.
