Purchasing Manager:

This role is responsible for managing the receiving, documenting, and storage process, ensuring that all products are accurately priced, rotated, and inventoried. The Purchasing Manager will also oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all receiving areas to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and Four Seasons standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify all incoming goods with delivery orders, invoices, food specifications, and purchase records to ensure accuracy in type, quantity, price, and quality of items.
  • Oversee inventory to optimize stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.
  • Collaborate with the Storeroom Clerk to ensure the fulfillment of all beverage requisitions and requests from the outlets.
  • Maintain constant communication with the operations team on the timing of deliveries and availability of products.
  • Assist the Director of Purchasing in overseeing daily operations.
  • Contribute to monthly inventory processes for the hotel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Working knowledge of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office systems, including Word, Excel, and procurement software and systems.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Fluency in English is required for this location, and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the United States.
