You will refine your skills through our in-house training programs and have the chance to work with a variety of cuisines and cooking techniques. Our team members are ambassadors of our company, reflecting our values and building relationships with our clients. We seek to make a valuable difference to those we serve, one nutritious meal at a time. As a Cook, your responsibilities will include preparing orders for patients, staff, visitors, and catering using standardized recipes and service and/or plating guidelines. You will take note of variances in recipes and plating guidelines and communicate issues to the Executive Chef. You will also assist customers with orders by answering menu and recipe-related questions and build rapport with guests. You will follow regulations and established standards applicable to personal hygiene and food preparation, handling, and disposal. You will perform related duties as required. We are looking for a team member who has one year of directly related work experience in the fast-food, restaurant, hospitality, or other culinary environment. Knowledge of HACCP food handling standards and guidelines, and industry standards relating to personal hygiene in a culinary environment, is preferred. ServSafe Certification is a plus, and you must have an OR state food handler's permit.
