Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Ector County Independent School District. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote evaluations and provide individual and group therapy to students with speech and language disorders.
- Evaluate student progress and make recommendations for therapy services.
- Develop clinical management strategies and diagnostic statements.
- Participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee.
- Consult with colleagues, students, and parents regarding therapy goals and student needs.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
- State License for Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency-SLP.
- One year supervised clinical experience.
Working Conditions:
This position requires frequent sitting, kneeling, bending, and twisting. The ability to work with frequent interruptions and maintain emotional control under pressure is essential.
