Event Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Event Supervisor to join our team at the Multi-Cultural Center. In this part-time position, you will have the opportunity to select which community events to supervise, meet new people, and learn about different cultures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet group leaders and establish open communication throughout the event
  • Operate venue lights, audiovisual equipment, and kitchen appliances
  • Evaluate facility policies and procedures for adherence
  • Ensure venue security at the end of each event

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience coordinating event preparations an asset
  • Excellent customer service skills with confidence and respect
  • Able to work weekends and evenings
  • Sensitive to special needs and cultural differences
