- Standard Operating Procedures: Assist in the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures aligned with strategic goals.
- Vendor Consultation: Collaborate with vendors and contractors on new installations and equipment.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, including after-hours incidents.
- Confined Space Work: Enter and work in confined spaces as required.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and support the district's asset management program.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. is required.
Licenses: A valid Class C California Driver's License and a clean driving record are mandatory.
Certification: CCST (Certified Control System Technician) is preferred.
Experience
- A minimum of 4 years of journey-level experience in SCADA programming, design, installation, and maintenance.
- An Associate's degree in electronics technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field may substitute for up to 2 years of experience.
