Role SummaryA Registered Pharmacy Technician at Harris Health System is responsible for the preparation and distribution of prescribed medications and various healthcare products under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Key responsibilities include:
- Reconstituting medications and compounding sterile preparations.
- Managing inventory and delivering medications to patient care units.
- Replenishing medications in automated dispensing cabinets.
- Participating in scheduled terminal cleanings.
- Handling phone inquiries, filing invoices, stocking shelves, and performing data entry tasks.
