Job Summary

CareNow is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant PRN to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and conducting patient histories
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies
  • Assist physicians with procedures, including injections and lab testing
  • Coordinate patient physicals and work-related injuries for partner accounts
  • Screen incoming calls and refer patients to physicians and practitioners as needed
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in a clinical patient setting
  • Experience using an EHR system is highly desirable
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assisting or completion of an approved program
  • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) is highly valued
