This role is responsible for providing technical support on projects by learning Goodyear systems and processes in collaboration with experienced personnel.

The incumbent will seek solutions to technical problems, conduct work on assigned tasks, and demonstrate an entry-level type of knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Implement products, processes, and methods that meet internal and external customer requirements.
  • Support the evaluation of machinery, products, processes, and methods, and obtain results.
  • Contribute to the manufacture of quality products and processes.
  • Communicate and solve problems by interpreting and analyzing data.
  • Translate machinery and product needs to experimental data or design parameters.
  • Work with teams and product groups to bring technology to market.
  • Obtain required training and skill development for position-specific skills and personal development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience required.
  • PLC experience.
  • School project or activity involvement.
  • Co-op/Squad experience desired.

Skills and Abilities

  • Basic understanding of science and technology in the appropriate discipline.
  • Basic comprehension of statistical design and analysis, cause and effect analysis, and risk analysis.
  • Ability to carry out assignments in a logical fashion using existing technology and standardized methods.
  • Understanding of technical drawings and procedures.
  • Basic organization, communication, and experimentation skills.
