Key Responsibilities
  • Wrap, package, scale, and price merchandise in the Meat Department to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing Meat Department, adhering to company standards and guidelines.
  • Perform other tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the Meat Department, including receiving and stocking merchandise, rotating stock, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment, preferably in a meat department or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
