Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at CompuRay Medicals in Highland, Indiana. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic imaging procedures, explaining procedures to patients, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform radiologic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
  • Patient Communication: Explain radiology procedures to patients, prepare them for their exams, and provide clear instructions on what to expect.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain the procedure room, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies, and perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment.
  • Image Analysis: Review clinical data and patient history to perform the appropriate examinations, and analyze anatomical structures to obtain accurate diagnostic images.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality image delivery to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and complete study indexing in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
Requirements
  • Certification: ARRT certification required.
  • Licensure: Indiana state license or eligibility.
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in radiology preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging techniques and safety practices, ability to work independently and on a team.
