- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Assume responsibility for maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including documentation of care provided and patient progress.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
- Stay current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in care delivery.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current RN license in the State of Texas.
- Current BLS certification and ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Experience in a medical/surgical unit or similar setting.
- Spanish proficiency or ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients and families.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
