Job Overview

First Student is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school safely and efficiently. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our students and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students on board, providing assistance as needed.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain the highest standards of vehicle maintenance.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and successful transportation experience.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing and physical.
Benefits
  • Competitive starting wage: $29.19-$32.43/HR (DOE).
  • Sign-on bonus: $3,500 for new drivers, $5,500 for fully licensed drivers.
