Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment, ensuring timely and efficient repairs.
  • Read job orders, observe, and listen to vehicles in operation to determine malfunctions and plan work procedures.
  • Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined, and perform visual inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Test-drive vehicles to ensure they run smoothly and safely.
  • Tag all warranty parts and returns to the warranty clerk, maintaining accurate records.
  • Attend training classes and stay up-to-date with factory technical bulletins to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 1-year fleet or dealership experience, with a strong understanding of heavy-duty diesel mechanics.
