Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Staff Attorney to join our team at Dakota Plains Legal Services in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a significant caseload touching on various areas of law with regular appearances in court.
  • Assume immediate practice responsibilities and demonstrate an interest in poverty law and working with Native American and low-income clients.
  • Travel occasionally for same-day appearances.

Requirements:

  • JD degree and licensure to practice law in South Dakota or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
