Position Overview

American Van Lines stands as a prominent name among Independent Moving Companies across the nation, continuously expanding its operations. We are in search of a Logistics Coordinator to enhance our dynamic team, supporting our fleet of drivers who manage Interstate relocations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee logistics operations with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Experience in household relocation is advantageous.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Engage and collaborate with a team of 10 or more drivers on a daily basis.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills.
  • Maintain strong follow-up practices.
  • Possess a general understanding of U.S. geography.
  • Effectively manage high-pressure situations.
  • Work with route planners to optimize travel efficiency.
  • Assist drivers with modifications to work orders as necessary.
  • Display meticulous attention to detail.
  • Utilize time management and organizational skills effectively.

Special Considerations: Availability during weekends and after hours may be required to provide support to drivers.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Expected Work Hours: 40 – 45 hours per week
