Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the medical staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and cultural background.
  • Monitor and record patient condition, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary personnel, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state compact license).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 4 months of hire.
  • 1-3 years of recent acute care experience, preferably in behavioral health or mental health.
