We are currently seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. This role is essential in supporting students with various speech and language needs within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial and periodic assessments to evaluate student needs.
- Develop individualized long-term and short-term objectives for therapy.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly.
- Collaborate effectively with educators, related service professionals, and school leadership.
- Possibly oversee the work of SLP-Assistants.
- Must possess a valid North Carolina SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence is required.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, though candidates with backgrounds in clinical or home health environments will also be considered.
This position offers a full-time contract for the upcoming school year, focusing on a diverse caseload that includes both general and special education students. The majority of the work will involve addressing mild to moderate speech and language challenges.
