We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Newton County Sheriff's Detention Center in Covington, Georgia. As a Registered Nurse with NaphCare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care to individuals in a correctional setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take and document patient history and vital signs
  • Perform and document mental health screenings and/or evaluations
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical and mental health emergencies
  • Assist with daily triage/sick call, minor medical/surgical procedures, patient assessments, examinations, and/or treatment
  • Initiate and document prescribed protocol agreements
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies within the facility
  • Observe and evaluate the performance of licensed practical/vocational nursing staff
