About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Sales Manager to join our team at Phoenix Ventures. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to drive growth in the cyber security business in Southern Germany and Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in the cyber security business in Southern Germany and Switzerland, including identifying key customers, actions, and tactics to achieve sales goals.
  • Regional Sales Activities: Be responsible for regional sales activities for our cyber security product range, with a focus on StationGuard, including product presentations, on-site demonstrations, and sales partner development.
  • Customer Support: Serve as the primary contact for security issues in your area, providing support to customers in finding suitable solutions for their needs.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor regional trends, requirements, and competition, providing insights and feedback to the product development process.
  • Sales Partner Development: Identify, develop, and evaluate sales partners in your area, conducting product presentations and on-site demonstrations together with application engineers.
  • Project Business and Tenders: Generate, realize, and support project business and tenders, working closely with the sales team to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Hold a degree or training in computer science or electrical engineering, with several years of experience in IT or cyber security sales.
  • OT Cyber Security Knowledge: Have training or experience in OT cyber security or be motivated to further educate yourself in this area.
  • Strategic and Technical Skills: Possess strong strategic skills, as well as good technical sales and presentation skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Have experience in the energy supply industry, especially in the German-speaking region, and a very good command of English and German.
  • Travel and Independence: Be comfortable working independently, taking responsibility, and traveling within Germany and Switzerland.
