Mechanical Construction Assistant Project Manager

Job Summary:
The Mechanical Construction Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to projects, as well as overseeing field labor productivity, quality assurance, and coordination. This role will also involve project financial projections and reporting, material and equipment procurement, change order management, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to projects
- Oversee field labor productivity, quality assurance, and coordination
- Manage project financial projections and reporting
- Procure materials and equipment
- Manage change orders
- Develop and maintain owner/client relations
- Manage project cash flow
- Manage personnel
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of construction work-related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
- Ability to perform basic business mathematical functions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively manage time and details
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to have organizational skills in handling and archiving technical data
