The Practice Assistant plays a vital role in the operations of our community-based physician practices, providing administrative support and ensuring the highest quality experience for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides departmental support by performing receptionist and clerical duties
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Answering the telephone system promptly and gathering screening information
  • Referral management and health insurance payor review
  • Organizing and maintaining patient records, logs, and other controlling systems
  • New patient coordination
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, Associate's Degree preferred
  • 2+ years of medical office experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
