About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Support Technician - Autism Services to join our team at KidsPeace. As a Behavioral Support Technician, you will provide critical support to autistic clients through group and one-on-one services, utilizing evidence-based interventions and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities. A strong understanding of ABA principles and practices is essential, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality behavioral support services to clients, ensuring their needs are met and goals are achieved.
  • Collaborate with lead behavior health technicians, assistant supervisors, and other team members to develop and implement individualized service plans.
  • Document client progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting data to relevant stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in ABA and autism support, applying new knowledge and skills to improve client outcomes.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or related field preferred.
  2. At least two years of experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities.
  3. Familiarity with ABA principles and practices, with a strong focus on evidence-based interventions.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  5. Valid driver's license and First Aid/CPR certifications required.
