Position Overview:

This role involves significant travel across various states, with a hybrid model of office and project site work. Candidates should be open to relocating if necessary.

With over four decades of expertise, The FRICKS Company is a leader in the design, construction, and finishing of high-performance concrete flooring solutions, enhancing the durability of surfaces significantly compared to traditional concrete. Our projects span nationwide, including distribution centers, food processing plants, and cold storage facilities.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to specifications while maintaining safety, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Manage all project schedules, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with the General Contractor and job site teams.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct pre-job meetings with field supervision and support teams.
  • Oversee project start-up activities and material delivery schedules.
  • Perform routine quality control inspections on-site.
  • Work closely with the Concrete Quality Director to ensure all necessary testing is conducted.
  • Prepare budget forecasts aligned with project requirements.
  • Address warranty issues proactively.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Job Costing
  • Ability to interpret and understand project blueprints
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Composure in challenging situations
  • Preferred experience in warehouse or grocery store environments

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in Project Management roles
  • Experience supervising commercial concrete projects
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving capabilities with excellent multitasking skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods
  • Able to work in various construction environments, including indoor and outdoor settings
  • Availability for overtime work
