Job Responsibilities
The Deputy Program Director will be responsible for providing direct management and oversight to the NA-19 DA portfolio, as well as tactical and strategic support to the Project-Program Director. This includes line management assistance for the ALDW-PO group, integration of the NA-12 program, planning, programming, metrics, and budgeting in specific areas of responsibility, interfacing with NNSA HQ/NA-LA stakeholders/customers and LANL program/line management organizations, integrating with weapons physics, production, and strategic partnership programs, and providing oversight and direction to the ALDW-PO's Integration Processes and Tools team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear engineering, including design, development, and product realization, as well as experience in managing technical programs with significant fiscal and programmatic responsibilities.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In addition to your technical expertise, you should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel. You will also need to obtain a Q clearance, which requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Preferred qualifications include experience interacting/interfacing with the NNSA program offices and programmatic secretarial offices, DOD program offices, and nuclear weapons engineering design, development, and/or product realization.
