We are seeking a skilled Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team at TeamHealth in California. This part-time position is 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, and is on-site at the medical facility.

Job Overview

The Practice Coordinator will provide administrative support to the practice, maintaining accurate data and meeting productivity standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating completion of physician clinical documentation and ensuring complete documentation and signatures
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
  • Accessing hospital information systems or working with facility staff to procure patient demographic and insurance data
  • Alerting the Supervisor and seeking assistance when an activity or process changes at the facility
Administrative Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide support to the Facility Medical Director, VP of Client Services, Regional Medical Director, and T.H. H.M. provider staff, including:

  • Scheduling meetings and preparing agendas and minutes
  • Facilitating provider scheduling changes and notifications
  • Collecting and tracking critical data for dashboards
  • Distributing messages and mail
Operational Responsibilities

The Practice Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining copies of in-patient records upon discharge, assembling batches of complete records, and shipping work to the designated Billing Operations Center.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain positive working relationships and work independently with speed and accuracy.

We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience.
