Position Overview:

JT4 is seeking a dedicated F-22 Simulator Pilot to join our team, providing essential expertise in advanced military aviation operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in 5th generation fighter aircraft, with a preference for F-22A experience.
  • Contribute to engineering support for test planning, design reviews, and related testing activities.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to create and integrate an advanced synthetic test and training environment.
  • Utilize tactical knowledge to enhance scenario development for training objectives and test events.
  • Assist in the formulation of customer test plans and test cards for operational test events.
  • Engage in daily communications with Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) customers and technical teams.
  • Configure the battlespace and recommend adjustments post-testing to optimize the virtual environment.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to support operational assessments.
  • Instruct and mentor fellow pilots and engineers on the operation of advanced aircraft systems.
  • Act as a technical liaison within the fifth-generation operational community.
  • Provide simulated adversary pilot support as required.
  • Offer insights for the Digital Test & Training Range (DTTR) to enhance capabilities for tactics development.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited institution.

Current or former U.S. Military Fighter Pilots are preferred, with a strong understanding of flight theory, navigation, meteorology, and mission tactics.

Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid driver's license and eligible for U.S. Government Security Clearance.

Desired Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience with 5th Generation Fighter Aircraft (F-22A or F-35).
  • Graduates of the USAF Weapons School or Navy Top Gun are highly regarded.
  • Completion of the USAF Test Pilot School or Navy Test Pilot School is preferred.
  • Experience in Development Test (DT) or Operational Test (OT) operations.
  • Proven experience in managing or conducting military flight test operations.

Compensation:

The anticipated salary range for this role is between $140,000 and $165,000 annually.
