Job Description
As an Occupational Therapist at Park Place Transitional Care and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for:
- Effectively screening and evaluating patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders, developing appropriate plans of care, and following regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
- Providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and physical functioning disorders.
- Administering various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and modalities.
- Evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatments accordingly.
- Providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers.
- Effectively communicating with supervisors and other health team members regarding patient progress and treatment plans.
- Providing comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must be a licensed Occupational Therapist with a strong understanding of regulatory and clinical practice standards. We welcome applicants at all experience levels, including new graduates.
