Role Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the production team, ensuring that operational goals are met efficiently. This role involves supervising production operators and coordinating their activities in alignment with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise personnel operating production machinery, assembling products, conducting quality checks, and packaging items for distribution.
  • Promote safe and environmentally responsible practices by fostering a culture of safety and encouraging employee participation.
  • Manage workflow within the department, ensuring adequate inventory levels and appropriate staffing to meet production demands.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and other departments to uphold product quality and maintain the company's reputation.
  • Optimize workforce management in accordance with company policies to achieve production targets.
  • Develop a high-performing production team through effective hiring, training, and certification processes.
  • Monitor production output against established schedules and quality benchmarks.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards within the functional area.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

  • Knowledge of safety procedures in manufacturing environments is essential.
  • Experience with manufacturing or ERP systems is required.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to navigate the production facility.
