Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at TridentCare. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organization that prioritizes customer satisfaction and employee well-being.

As a Mobile Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting patient specimens in various settings, including nursing homes and clinics. You will need to accurately identify patients, use venipuncture and skin puncture techniques, and maintain sterile and sanitary conditions to prevent contamination.

You will also be responsible for transporting specimens to the laboratory, communicating with dispatchers to report your status and location, and adhering to Universal Precautions to control blood-borne pathogens and infectious disease exposures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect patient specimens in various settings, including nursing homes and clinics
• Accurately identify patients before collecting specimens
• Use venipuncture and skin puncture techniques to collect blood and other biological specimens
• Maintain sterile and sanitary conditions to prevent contamination
• Transport specimens to the laboratory for testing
• Communicate with dispatchers to report your status and location

Requirements:

• Current, valid State phlebotomy license (if applicable)
• Current, valid State Driver's license; car insurance; good driving record; and a vehicle in good working condition suitable to meet daily driving requirements
• Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using both vacutainer and syringe techniques
• Knowledge of laboratory operations
• Ability to maintain sterile, sanitary conditions to prevent contamination
