About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Oncology/Neuro unit at Trident Medical Center. As a key member of our interdependent team, you will be responsible for assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan to achieve positive patient and departmental outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, provide wound care, and perform other nursing interventions as needed.
  • Document patient information, test results, and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
