About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Travelers' technology team as a Software Engineer II. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, analyzing, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing software solutions based on user or system specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Software Solutions: Responsible for designing, developing, analyzing, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing software solutions based on user or system specifications.
  • Work Independently: Work independently to tackle well-scoped and loosely scoped problems.

Requirements

  • Mobile Programming Experience: Five years of mobile programming/development experience with React and Node.js preferred.
  • Cloud Engineering: Experience with Cloud Engineering (AWS preferred with emphasis on Node.js Lambdas, AWS Gateway, S3).
  • CICD DevOps Tools: Experience with one or more CI/CD DevOps tools: ArgoCD, Jenkins, UCD, GitHub Actions.
