As an Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in our patient care team, providing primary medical direction and coordination of professional medical care within our occupational health program.

Responsibilities
  • Examine patients, compile medical data, and interpret diagnostic test results to provide accurate diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory tests, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in providing continuity of care.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and peers, while incorporating Concentra's values of service mentality, attention to detail, sense of urgency, initiative, and flexibility.
  • Ensure accurate, concise, timely, and complete documentation of results and paperwork.
  • Participate in Continuing Medical Education to stay up-to-date on the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction.
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university.
  • Board Certification.
  • Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine.
  • FMCSA NRCME certification required prior to start date.
  • DEA certification required prior to start date.
