Responsibilities:
  • Implement preventative maintenance tasks and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance activities on equipment as necessary.
  • Ensure the maximum efficiency of the operation while maintaining compliance with established safety, quality, material usage, sanitation, budget, and scheduling guidelines.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to function effectively within the assigned team.
  • Demonstrate impeccable attendance while working in an environment of varying temperature extremes; able to perform frequent physical activity in the form of lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, etc. and capable of frequently lifting and carrying 50 lbs.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma; post high school education or technical training is a plus.
  • Experience working with Modicon, PLC troubleshooting and programming, Wonderware, instrumentation, and hardware, including VFDs, motor starters, circuit breakers, HMIs, solenoids, limit switches, proxies, selector switches, etc.
  • Repair, replace and install sensors, actuators, transformers, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, conduit systems, switches, defective wiring, etc.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, replace PLC's, variable Frequency Drives, and related electronic hardware.
  • Use blueprints and wiring diagrams to plan and execute electrical repairs and installations.
  • Provide technical expertise to train and support production and create an environment of continuous learning.
