Maintenance Technician

Aven Realty is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team in Albany, GA. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in plumbing and possess their own vehicle for transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct apartment turns between tenant move-outs and move-ins, ensuring units are clean, safe, and ready for occupancy.
- Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks, including fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures as needed.
- Complete painting, patching, and minor carpentry work to prepare units for new residents.
- Inspect and repair appliances, HVAC systems, and electrical fixtures as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance equipment and supplies.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management staff.
- Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and other general maintenance duties as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a residential setting.
- Strong knowledge and experience in plumbing repairs and maintenance.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, with excellent time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
