About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Operations Specialist to join our team at First Bank Richmond.

This role will involve managing the bank's accounts payable process, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and maintaining accurate records.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Establishing new vendor accounts and obtaining W-9s
  2. Scanning invoices, check copies, and vendor information into accounts payable software
  3. Initiating digital invoice approval processes and obtaining signatures
  4. Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying and classifying accounts payable data
  5. Assisting with audit processes and research, as needed

We offer a competitive salary of $58,000 - $68,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • An associate's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Proven experience working in an accounts payable capacity
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable practices
  • Data entry and spreadsheet skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
