About the Role: As a Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, programs, and premises to maximize asset value creation, ensure safe equipment operation, and control the cost of ownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish Equipment Performance Expectations: Set and measure overall performance targets for rotating equipment assets.
  • Drive Improvements with Industry-Best Tools: Utilize advanced reliability tools to optimize costs and improve equipment performance.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure optimal equipment operation.
  • Optimize Preventive Maintenance: Identify gaps and develop corrective action plans to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate Major Overhauls and Repairs: Collaborate with production teams to ensure seamless execution of critical equipment maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot Equipment Problems: Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Collaborate with Production for Reliability Improvements: Integrate rotating equipment programs with overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of reliability engineering experience, with a minimum of 3 years in the Chemical or Oil & Gas refinery industry.
  • Skills: Proven performance leading rotating equipment programs, expert knowledge of rotating equipment and industry best practices, familiarity with specialty equipment and predictive technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Authorization: Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.
