Job Summary

">

The Addiction Care Specialist assists in providing a safe environment for individuals while they are in the program. The primary responsibilities include assisting in the admission process, answering client questions, and supervising clients with emphasis on client safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Assists with the admission process on new client admissions and orientation procedures and schedules.">
  • Records Inventory log of all personal belongings, valuables and return ticket. Ticket and valuables to be kept in the safe.">
  • Facilitates all orientation groups with clients.">
  • Fills out required lab requisitions per protocol.">
  • Knows where clients are at all times.">
  • De-escalates AMA and other client problems.">
  • Participates in all staff meetings as scheduled.">
  • Provides liaison with staff and other tech to ensure that all clients needs are met.">
  • Supervises meals, including supervision of servers and clean up crew after each meal.">
  • Ensures that garbage is disposed of properly after each meal.">
  • Monitors group room to ensure cleanliness after each activity.">
  • Hands off information necessary for the evening Tech and staff at the end of the day shift. Maintains logbook for the continuity of care.">
  • Participates in shift turnover and ensures that the next shift has Tech on duty.">
  • Supervises clients completing the Program with emphasis on client safety and well being.">
  • Reminds clients of program rules and regulations as necessary and reports infractions appropriately.">
  • Provides emotional support for clients while referring them to therapy staff to deal with clinical issues.">
  • Completes all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner.">
  • Completes incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner.">
  • Communicates with other staff as necessary to promote quality client care.">
  • Participates in maintaining clean, properly supplied and efficient work areas.">
  • Completes UA Screen Collection per protocol.">
  • Observes and reports safety, maintenance problems.">
  • Interacts appropriately with clients, showing them respect while maintaining boundaries.">
  • Maintains professional demeanor at all times.">
  • Exercises sound professional judgment and seeks assistance as necessary to effectively manage client behavior.">
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.">
  • Performs other duties assigned.">

Salary Information

">

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $17-$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to our hourly rate, we provide comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, vision, dental, 401(k) with a match, life insurance, and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of employment.

Schedule and Location

">

This is a full-time position working various shifts, including overnight hours. The location of this position is Monmouth Junction, NJ.
