Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and operate the CT scanner to perform diagnostic examinations, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
  • Document patient information, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields within our electronic medical record system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software protocols and maintain proficiency in executing imaging procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, plus college/technical training in radiologic technology.
  • Valid ARRT (CT) certification and clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 100 lbs.
  • Minimum of 1 year current/recent experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting.
