CMM Operator/Machined Parts Inspector

Automatic Products Corp is seeking a highly skilled CMM Operator to join our team in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining Coordinate Measuring Machines to ensure accurate and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines to ensure accurate measurements and inspections.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to understand product specifications.
  • Perform measurements and inspections on products using various tools and equipment.
  • Ensure that products meet required specifications and standards.
  • Create and maintain accurate records of measurements and inspections.
  • Perform calibration and routine maintenance of Inspection Equipment.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements and Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (Zeiss/Calypso preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of GD&T preferred.
  • Proficiency in using various measuring tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
