Starting pay ranges from $24.00 for Entry Level to $30.00, with an additional $1.00 premium for Night Shifts.
Position Overview:
The Mechanical Maintenance Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our mechanical systems. This position involves responding to equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, and modifications to maintain seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize provided tools and equipment to maintain machinery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot any issues.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on a weekly basis and complete assigned work orders.
- Comply with USDA and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
- Ensure timely repairs and adjustments to machinery.
- Implement Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Physical capability to meet job demands with or without accommodations.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing and walking for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights of up to 50 lbs.
- Capability to reach overhead and below the knees.
- Multitasking abilities.
- Timely completion of necessary paperwork.
- Use of material handling equipment as required.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to damp and cold conditions.
- Working with loud machinery.
- Tasks may require navigating congested and tight spaces.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Experience with mechanical machinery is preferred.
- Shift availability: Thursday to Sunday, 6 AM to 5 PM.
