About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and Repair: Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of appliances such as washing machines, dryers, and air-vending machines. Ensure that all repairs are carried out efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
  • Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and preventative services on appliances to ensure optimal performance and extend their lifespan. This includes cleaning, lubricating, replacing worn-out parts, and adjusting settings as necessary.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their concerns and providing accurate information regarding the repair or maintenance process. Offer advice and recommendations on appliance usage, care, and maintenance to prevent future issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and any other relevant information. Prepare service reports and update the internal database with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Parts and Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of spare parts and tools. Order necessary parts and equipment to ensure the availability of required resources for efficient repairs and maintenance.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with electrical systems and appliances. Ensure personal safety and the safety of customers' property during service calls.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for this role.
  • Ability to Pass Pre-Employment Screening: Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment screening.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills are required to interact with customers effectively.
  • Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently and manage time efficiently is essential for this role.
  • Physical Stamina and Dexterity: Physical stamina and dexterity are required to handle and maneuver heavy appliances.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are required for documentation and communication purposes.
