Job Description:

Fidelity Institutional Business Enablement Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join their data squad in Smithfield, RI. The ideal candidate will provide leadership on complex systems analysis projects, influence business partners to develop recommendations, and negotiate business priorities through partnership with product owners.

This position requires an independent thinker and collaborator who demonstrates analytical thinking, active listening, and champions continuous improvement. The squad supports a CRM system migration to Salesforce and partners closely with the Fidelity Institutional Market Readiness Team.

The Expertise You Have

  • 5+ years of Systems Analysis experience with a solid understanding of data-intensive applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience working in a Full Stack environment (UI, Middleware, and Database layers).

The Skills You Bring

  • Demonstrated expertise in interviewing and extracting high-quality business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Experience with Oracle and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodology, creating and refining stories, leading refinements.
  • Confidence in SQL skills and passion for data analysis.
  • Experience with RESTful Web APIs, production support, bulk script creation, and Salesforce Admin/Business Analyst skills.
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills, including strong judgement, issues management, and problem analysis techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively balance multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
