Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Bellevue, WA. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our Power Services & Renewables business segment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare project management invoices and related journal entries.
  • Responsible for monthly accounting close for Power Services & Renewables business segments:
  • Prepare accrued and adjusting general journal entries for assigned projects/accounts including, but not limited to, prepaid, deferred revenue, unbilled revenue, projects revenues/expenses, G&A expenses, etc.
  • Perform project billings
  • Prepare and analyze project gross margin reports, and reconcile to general ledger
  • Prepare settlements related to customer payments
  • Reconcile A/R aging, PREPAY aging and general ledger, including analysis of invoice and payment discrepancies
  • Prepare standalone financial statements for NAES Power Services & Renewables business segments as assigned
  • Serve as point of contact for General Managers, Operations Directors, Project Managers, etc. for project accounting management, billing approval and/or issue resolution
  • Reconcile and adjust assigned general ledger accounts
  • Assist with the monthly forecasting of revenue and expenses for assigned projects or business segments
  • Client collaboration on collection of outstanding accounts receivable and prefunding invoices, when needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent education and/or experience
  • At least three to five years accounting experience with a strong emphasis on general ledger and accounts receivable
  • Exposure to payroll, accounts payable, and project accounting
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
  • ERP experience (Microsoft D365, Dynamics, Great Plains is a plus)
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and strong decision making

  • $34.00 - $38.00 per hour
  • 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
