Family Based Mental Health Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Based Mental Health Clinician to join our team at Every Child, Inc.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in community mental health and a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to families experiencing behavioral health and other needs.

As a Family Based Mental Health Clinician, you will provide therapeutic, case management, psycho-education, and support services to families with special skills in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders and behavior management.

You will work collaboratively with a care team to support the whole family and help them work through a range of behavioral and emotional challenges in a low-barrier environment.

Requirements:
  • Passion for working in community mental health
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
  • Minimum of one year direct counseling experience in a child-serving system/agency
  • Minimum of two years' experience working with children/adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders, non-internship experience
  • Coursework and/or training related to Autism Spectrum Disorders, required
  • Experience working with trauma issues
  • Excellent organizational/administrative skills with good computer skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
  • Clearances must be obtained and submitted
  • Sense of humor
