- Formulating strategies for effective service delivery, equipment utilization, facilities management, and operational efficiency in collaboration with educational leadership and the School Food Service Division.
- Overseeing and directing daily food service activities; assessing and updating internal operational protocols.
- Setting and upholding exceptional standards of quality assurance for food preparation and distribution.
- Engaging in the recruitment and selection process for food service personnel; overseeing the development of menus and culinary recipes.
- Delivering orientation and training to subordinate food service staff on operational practices and safety protocols.
- Forecasting and procuring food and supplies to fulfill menu requirements.
- Maintaining financial documentation, records, and adhering to the allocated budget.
- Conducting inspections of kitchen and dining facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Coordinating the scheduling and supervision of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Managing satellite food service operations.
- Participating in staff meetings and ensuring all necessary certifications are maintained.
Experience Qualifications:
- Comprehensive and specialized experience in food service management within an educational or institutional setting.
- Demonstrated supervisory capabilities.
Certification Requirement: Valid certification in food handlers training is required.
Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
