Job Opportunity

AleraCare, a leading provider of ambulatory infusion treatments and specialty pharmacy services, is seeking a skilled Travel Infusion Nurse Practitioner to join our team. This per diem position offers a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to work in our infusion centers located in Berkeley, San Jose, and Mountain View, with occasional travel to the Los Angeles metro area.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality nursing services to assigned patients in accordance with their plan of care.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and function as a patient advocate, treating patients and families with respect and dignity.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care, including initial patient evaluations and assessments.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in the company's Performance Improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs.
  • Assume responsibility for clinic location(s) and maintain a culture of safety and quality care.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Current NP state license in the state of practice.
  • At least 4-5 years of advanced practice registered nursing (APRN) experience, with ambulatory and infusion nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and ability to recognize and direct information to the appropriate healthcare provider.

Physical Requirements:

  • The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear.
  • The employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
