We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Multifamily. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our residents and ensuring the overall quality of our properties.

Job Summary

">

The Maintenance Technician provides critical support to our residents and is accountable for delivering on our commitments. This includes quality move-ins, residential satisfaction, expedited service, and personal attention to the resident. You will respond to our residents' service needs and play a vital role in helping deliver superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Prepare Make Ready Apartments: Prepares make ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping duties, and any necessary duties to provide our residents with a quality move-in experience.">
  3. Respond to Resident Requests: Responds to resident requests in a timely manner and with a professional attitude.">
  4. Maintenance Functions: Has knowledge of maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric, general carpentry skills, painting, and snow removal (if applicable).">
  5. Grounds and Amenities: Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep clean, operational, and safe for our residents.">
  6. On-Call Scheduling: On-call scheduling may be required to respond to after-hour emergencies.">
  7. Maintenance Concerns: Reports any maintenance concerns on vacant units, models, and common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.">
  8. Scheduled Maintenance: Performs maintenance as scheduled by the Maintenance supervisor.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required.">
  • EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO or Local City Required Certificate: EPA 608 - Minimum Type II and CPO or local city required certificate is required.">
  • Ability to Read/Understand Documents: Ability to read and understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.">
  • Mathematical Abilities: Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and prepare and interpret bar graphs.">
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to deal with problems involving several known variables in situations of a routine nature.">
  • Communication Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.">
  • Follow Safety Procedures: Follow all safety procedures.">

Estimated Salary Range

">

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.

">

Work Environment

">

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Regularly required to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands

">

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time. They must be able to ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools and may be required to travel outside between buildings in varying outdoor weather conditions.
