Position Overview

Facilities Maintenance Manager

$500 Sign-on Bonus and $1,500 Retention Bonus Available

Key Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance activities. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the facilities are well-maintained, while also leading and motivating the maintenance team to achieve success.

Core Duties Include:
  • Leading and managing the maintenance team regarding performance, job responsibilities, and scheduling.
  • Exhibiting exceptional customer service while interacting with residents.
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of issues, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and drywall.
  • Monitoring and managing maintenance inventory according to property requirements while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Conducting regular property and unit inspections as necessary, documenting updates and identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Coordinating with various vendors for outsourced services as required.
  • Ensuring that maintenance teams provide Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing for all residents.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent (a college degree is preferred).
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Lead Maintenance Technician.
  • Proficient knowledge of Onsite or Yardi Software.
  • Proficiency in the English language (reading, speaking, and writing).
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Reliable transportation is required.

Preferred Qualifications for Affordable Housing:
Experience in apartment maintenance, participation in UPCS/REAC inspections, and familiarity with resident-occupied project renovations.

Additional Information:
  • The work schedule is Monday through Friday.
  • Availability for after-hours calls, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle are required.
  • Employment with Monroe Group is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Salary:
$30.00/hr. - $31.00/hr.
