Job Summary

\

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Healthcare Associate to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our nursing staff and patients, answering telephone calls, recording necessary information, and requisitioning supplies and equipment.

\

Key Responsibilities

  • \
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a positive attitude\
  • Answering telephone calls and responding to messages in a professional manner\
  • Recording necessary information and routing calls or messages to appropriate personnel\
  • Requisitioning supplies and equipment as needed\
  • Returning films by the end of each shift\
  • Scheduling patient appointments with physicians' offices, other departments, and follow-up\
  • Using computer systems appropriately\
  • Pre-admitting all patients prior to their initial consultation\
  • Ordering radiology and laboratory procedures as indicated\
  • Collecting co-pays and taking monies to the appropriate area\

Requirements

  • \
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nurse Assistant in a hospital setting\
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) preferred upon hire and required within 30 days of hire\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team\
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends\
